 As always on Friday, it's Moral Dilemma Friday! Forgive me Footy for I have sinned! Today's first dilemma is a question for you if you were a parent. You hear noise coming from your daughter's bedroom and you rush in to find...a stranger standing naked on the girl's bed!
The father swung at the boy with a metal pipe and after chasing the boy out of the house, calls the police.
Turns out it was the daughter's boyfriend...and the father didn't even know she had a boyfriend! If you're the parent and you walked into your daughter's room and saw this, what would you do? Footy and guest co-host Scott Rothstein spoke with BSO Sheriff Al Lamberti about the Broward Sheriff Office's effort on behalf of Haiti. BSO is teaming up with Food for the Poor to collect items for the storm-ravaged victims in Haiti.
BSO launched this effort with the first delivery on Tuesday, September 16, of approximately 1,000 cases of meals ready-to-eat at the Food For The Poor headquarters at 6401 Lyons Rd. in Coconut Creek.
Over the next three weeks, BSO will provide logistical support through collection locations around Broward County. The types of items needed are: Canned goods (no items within 6 months from expiration) Bottled water Men’s, women’s, children’s and infants’ clothing (in good
wearable condition) Baby items like: bottles, formula, diapers, wipes, etc. First Aid and personal hygiene items Bedding Flashlights, radios, batteries, etc. The collection locations are:
1. Public Safety Building at 2601 W. Broward Blvd., Fort Lauderdale
2. Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue Sta. 14 at 791 NW 31 Ave., Lauderhill 3. Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue Sta. 81 at 17350 Royal Palm Blvd., Weston 4. Oakland Park Fire Rescue Sta. 87 at 3800 NW 21 Ave., Oakland Park 5. BSO South Broward District Office at 3201 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd., Pembroke Park
